Who is it suitable for?
Considered for people describing early slackening of the facial contours who are not considering surgery. This is not the name of one procedure but of several planned together. Where there is significant excess skin there is a limit to what injection can achieve, and that needs saying at the outset.
How does it work?
Slackening in the face does not have a single cause: volume loss, reduced skin quality and slackening of the supporting tissues occur together. The plan follows from which dominates on examination, and usually combines supportive filler with treatments aimed at tissue quality.
How is it performed?
It begins with a detailed facial assessment establishing what each area needs. Treatments may be planned within one session or spaced out. The result is judged when the plan is complete, not after a single step.
What to watch for afterwards
Aftercare depends on the methods used and is explained at the end of the session. What they share: avoid heat and heavy exercise in the first days, and keep pressure off the treated areas.
This treatment is not for everyone
Who should not have it?
Not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, where there is active infection in the area, with a known allergy to the products used, or in uncontrolled autoimmune disease. For someone whose expectation is a surgical result, this is not the right approach.
Frequently asked
About this treatment
Is this one procedure?
No. A non-surgical face lift is not the name of a product or a single treatment but of several methods planned together around the pattern of laxity found at examination. What it consists of varies from person to person.
Does it replace a face lift operation?
It does not. Injectable treatments have a limit against laxity, and where there is significant excess skin they will not deliver what is expected. For someone whose expectation is a surgical result, that needs saying at the outset.
When will I see a result?
That depends on the methods used. The effect of supportive treatments reads earlier, while treatments aimed at tissue quality develop over weeks. The result is judged when the plan is complete.
How long does it last?
It is not permanent. The products used are cleared by the body over time and ageing continues. Timing for a repeat is discussed at your review.
Is it the same as thread lifting?
It is not. Thread lifting is a separate method that aims to suspend tissue mechanically. The approach here is built on volume support and tissue quality. Which one suits you depends on the picture.
How many treatments does it take?
Giving a single number would not be honest; the plan is built for the person, and some treatments are done in one session while others are spaced out. What sets the order is getting the sequence right, not raising the number of procedures.
What should I do before the appointment?
Medicines and supplements that thin the blood — aspirin, ibuprofen-type painkillers, vitamin E, omega-3 — make bruising more likely. Tell us before your appointment if you take any; whether and when to pause them is your doctor's decision. Never stop a prescribed medicine on your own. If you have a history of cold sores, say so: an injection can trigger one.
Does it hurt? Is anaesthetic used?
Very fine needles are used, and a topical anaesthetic cream is applied beforehand where it helps. Most people describe a mild sting. Pain thresholds differ, so if you are uncomfortable during the procedure just say so — it can be paused and more can be done.
Can it be done during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Aesthetic injections are not advised during pregnancy or breastfeeding. There is not enough safety data for these periods, so they are avoided. Tell us beforehand if you are or might be pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
Who performs the treatment?
The assessment, the planning and the injection are all carried out by Dr. Burak Gümüşçü. What will be done, why, and what the alternatives are is explained before anything begins.
Which products are used?
Only licensed, single-use, sterile products. If you would like to know the name and contents of the product being used, that is shared at the consultation, and the packaging is opened in front of you.
Why is there no price on the site?
Türkiye's health advertising rules prohibit clinics from publishing prices or promotional offers. Beyond that, the amount used and the number of sessions vary from person to person, so a single figure would be misleading. Your own figure is given directly after the consultation.
Can another treatment be done in the same session?
Some treatments can be planned together in one session; others need to be spaced apart. That is decided after the face is assessed as a whole — the aim is to get the order right, not to add procedures.
