Skin Quality

Face Mesotherapy (Mesolift)

Micro-injections across the face intended to support skin hydration, radiance and tissue quality.

Who is it suitable for?

Considered for people who describe skin looking dull, fine lines becoming more visible and make-up no longer sitting well. Deep wrinkles and established laxity are not what this treatment addresses.

How does it work?

Hydrating and antioxidant ingredients are distributed through the dermis by many superficial injections across the face. The aim is not to change one area but to support skin quality as a whole, which is why the result is gradual rather than dramatic.

How is it performed?

The skin is cleansed and a topical anaesthetic is applied. Micro-injections are made with fine needles across the forehead, cheeks, chin and, where indicated, the neck. Treatment stays within the areas agreed at examination.

What to watch for afterwards

No make-up and no direct sun for the first 24 hours. Redness and small bumps settle within a few hours. Sunscreen matters in the days that follow.

This treatment is not for everyone

Who should not have it?

Not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, where there is active facial infection, a cold sore outbreak or a rosacea flare, with a known allergy to the components, or in a bleeding disorder.

Frequently asked

About this treatment

Is a 'mesolift' really a lift?

The name can mislead. This treatment does not lift tissue; it supports the skin's hydration and surface quality. For someone whose complaint is laxity, this is not the right answer, and that needs saying at the outset.

When do results show?

A feeling of hydration and radiance is described relatively early, while changes in tissue quality read over a longer period. The effect is gradual; no dramatic transformation should be expected from one session.

How long does the effect last?

It is not permanent and fades over time. The treatment is planned as part of skincare rather than as a course with an end. How often to repeat is discussed at your review, according to skin type and season.

When can I wear make-up again?

Make-up is not advised for the first 24 hours, because there are open micro-entry points at the injection sites. Normal routine resumes the next day; until then the skin is cared for only with the products your doctor recommends.

What side effects can occur?

Redness and small bumps at the injection points are expected findings and usually settle within a few hours. Bruising is less common. Report anything unexpected to the clinic.

Can it be combined with microneedling?

The two work by different mechanisms, so in some cases they complement each other. Whether they are done in the same session or spaced out depends on the state of the skin and is decided after examination.

What should I do before the appointment?

Medicines and supplements that thin the blood — aspirin, ibuprofen-type painkillers, vitamin E, omega-3 — make bruising more likely. Tell us before your appointment if you take any; whether and when to pause them is your doctor's decision. Never stop a prescribed medicine on your own. If you have a history of cold sores, say so: an injection can trigger one.

Does it hurt? Is anaesthetic used?

Very fine needles are used, and a topical anaesthetic cream is applied beforehand where it helps. Most people describe a mild sting. Pain thresholds differ, so if you are uncomfortable during the procedure just say so — it can be paused and more can be done.

Can it be done during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Aesthetic injections are not advised during pregnancy or breastfeeding. There is not enough safety data for these periods, so they are avoided. Tell us beforehand if you are or might be pregnant, or are breastfeeding.

Who performs the treatment?

The assessment, the planning and the injection are all carried out by Dr. Burak Gümüşçü. What will be done, why, and what the alternatives are is explained before anything begins.

Which products are used?

Only licensed, single-use, sterile products. If you would like to know the name and contents of the product being used, that is shared at the consultation, and the packaging is opened in front of you.

Why is there no price on the site?

Türkiye's health advertising rules prohibit clinics from publishing prices or promotional offers. Beyond that, the amount used and the number of sessions vary from person to person, so a single figure would be misleading. Your own figure is given directly after the consultation.

Can another treatment be done in the same session?

Some treatments can be planned together in one session; others need to be spaced apart. That is decided after the face is assessed as a whole — the aim is to get the order right, not to add procedures.
